You don’t need to be an expert at all! Every Vowzi camcorder is pre-set and ready to go straight out of the box — no technical setup needed. Most guests naturally pick it up and start filming within seconds. We also include a simple quick-start guide so anyone can confidently capture moments throughout the event.

We understand accidents can happen during celebrations. Minor wear and tear is completely expected. If the camcorder or accessories are significantly damaged, lost, or unable to be returned, additional replacement fees may apply. If anything happens during your event, simply contact us as soon as possible and we’ll work through it with you.

Absolutely — Vowzi is designed to complement professional videography, not replace it. Your videographer captures the polished cinematic moments, while Vowzi captures the candid, behind-the-scenes perspective from your guests. The result is a more personal, unfiltered view of your event that professional coverage may miss.

You’ll receive your Vowzi camcorder before your event date, giving you time to test it and feel comfortable using it. You’ll have a 72 hours to return it, so there’s no pressure to send it back immediately. Eg. Your event is Monday 10am, you will have until Thursday 10am to return. It may be a good idea to delegate someone to return it if you’re busy with your event!

Yes — every clip captured on the camcorder (that is on the SD card inside the camcorder) is yours. We provide all raw footage in full, so you can relive every candid moment exactly as it happened. You will also have the option of receiving any video edits in landscape or portrait orientation. That’s completely normal — and honestly, part of the charm. Vowzi is all about capturing authentic moments rather than perfectly polished footage. The camcorders are selected specifically to create that nostalgic, candid look people love. Some clips may be shaky, spontaneous, or imperfect — but that’s what makes them feel real! We’ll provide clear return instructions with your order. Simply package the camcorder back into its original box, packed in the black carry case with all accessories, and send it back in the prepaid post bag included in your delivery. You will have 72 hours from the start of your event to return your camcorder. We aim to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.

Each package is different. They include a highlight video which are the best moments captured from your footage put into a 30second-2min video, depending on how much footage there is. A social media edit is a portrait positioned video ideal for posting on social media and can be two seconds -15 seconds long.
